Local TTS Privacy Policy

1. 수집 및 처리하는 정보

  • 개인정보 미수집: Local TTS는 개인을 식별할 수 있는 정보를 수집·저장·공유하지 않습니다. 앱은 계정 없이 동작합니다.
  • 기기 내 처리: 텍스트, 가져온 파일, 생성된 음성은 모두 사용자의 기기 안에서만 처리되며 기본적으로 로컬 저장소에 머뭅니다. 어떤 콘텐츠도 업로드되지 않습니다.
  • Private iCloud: 기기 간 동기화를 위해 노트 데이터가 Apple iCloud Private Database(CloudKit)에 암호화된 상태로 저장될 수 있습니다. 데이터에 접근할 수 있는 주체는 사용자의 Apple ID뿐이며, Apple의 보안 정책이 적용됩니다.
  • 외부 연동: iCloud 동기화 외에 RevenueCat을 통해 익명 ID 기반의 구매 관리만 수행하며, 그 외 분석, 광고, 고객지원 등 타사 서비스로 데이터를 전송하거나 연동하지 않습니다.

2. 데이터 처리 방식

  • 데이터는 텍스트 낭독, 파일 가져오기, 노트 관리 등 기본 기능 제공을 위해서만 기기 또는 iCloud에 저장됩니다.
  • 동기화된 데이터는 사용자 본인이 여러 기기에서 동일한 노트를 사용할 수 있도록 하는 목적 외에는 활용되지 않습니다.
  • 분석, 광고, 마케팅, 제3자 제공 등 다른 활용은 전혀 이루어지지 않습니다.

3. 결제 정보

  • 프리미엄 기능(Pro) 결제는 Apple App Store를 통해 처리되며, 회사는 신용카드 정보 등 결제 수단 정보를 수신하거나 저장하지 않습니다.
  • 구매 상태 관리와 복원을 위해 RevenueCat이 익명 거래 식별자 등 최소한의 비개인 구매 정보를 처리합니다. RevenueCat 개인정보 처리방침: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

4. 보관 및 삭제

  • 기기에 저장된 데이터는 사용자가 앱 또는 시스템 설정에서 삭제하기 전까지 유지됩니다.
  • Private iCloud에 저장된 데이터는 iCloud 설정에서 사용자 계정이 데이터를 삭제하거나 동기화 서비스를 중단할 때 제거됩니다.
  • 회사는 별도의 서버에 백업하거나 복제본을 보관하지 않습니다.

5. 사용자 선택과 통제

  • iCloud 및 기기 설정에서 저장된 노트를 삭제하거나 관리할 수 있습니다.
  • 개인정보 관련 요청(접근, 정정, 삭제 등)은 문의를 통해 진행할 수 있습니다.

6. 안전성 확보 조치

  • 모든 음성 합성과 OCR 처리는 기기 내에서 이루어져 외부 유출 가능성을 최소화합니다.
  • iCloud로 전송되는 데이터는 Apple의 전송 및 저장 암호화를 따르며, 회사는 해당 데이터에 접근하지 않습니다.

1. Information We Collect and Process

  • No personal data collection: Local TTS does not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information. The app works without creating an account.
  • On-device processing: Your text, imported files, and generated speech are processed entirely on your device and remain in local storage by default. Nothing you read or listen to is uploaded.
  • Private iCloud: Notes may be stored encrypted in your personal Apple iCloud Private Database (CloudKit) to keep them in sync across devices. Only your Apple ID can access it, and Apple’s security policies apply.
  • Third-party integrations: Besides Private iCloud sync, we only use RevenueCat with anonymous IDs for purchase management. We do not send data to analytics providers, ad networks, or any other external services.

2. How We Handle Your Data

  • Data is stored locally or in iCloud strictly to deliver core read-aloud, file import, and note management features you request.
  • Synced content exists solely so you can access the same notes across devices.
  • We do not use your information for analytics, advertising, marketing, or any other secondary purpose.

3. Payments

  • If you choose to purchase premium features (Pro), payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment details such as credit card information.
  • We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, only to manage purchase status and restore purchases. RevenueCat processes limited, non-personal purchase-related information (such as anonymous transaction identifiers) for this purpose. RevenueCat privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

4. Retention and Deletion

  • Data stored on your device stays there until you remove it within the app or via system settings.
  • Private iCloud data is deleted when you remove it from iCloud settings or discontinue iCloud services for your account.
  • We do not store backups or copies of your data on our own servers.

5. Your Choices and Control

  • Manage or delete notes from iCloud and iOS settings at any time.
  • Contact us for privacy-related requests such as access, correction, or deletion.

6. Safeguards

  • All speech synthesis and OCR processing runs on-device to minimize exposure risk.
  • Any data sent to iCloud follows Apple’s encryption in transit and at rest, and we cannot access it.
